On November 3, 2026, we introduced Sequoia at a China–Belarus technology meeting and proposed three areas for potential collaboration: localization, joint research, and pilot projects.
Sequoia passed the preliminary selection for the 10th Zhongguancun International Advanced Technology Competition and was among the top 5 selected projects.
What Is the Zhongguancun Competition?
The Zhongguancun International Advanced Technology Competition is an international technology competition held in Beijing. Its goal is to discover promising innovations from around the world and help turn them into practical products and solutions.
The 10th edition features 12 categories, ranging from artificial intelligence and robotics to medical devices and digital healthcare. The qualifying rounds are scheduled from November 2026 to February 2027, with the final taking place in March 2027.
You can learn more about the categories, participation requirements, and competition stages in the official announcement.

Connecting Minsk and Beijing
On November 3, we participated in a China–Belarus technology roadshow. The Belarusian participants gathered at the Great Stone China–Belarus Industrial Park, while Chinese companies and experts joined remotely from Beijing.
Dzianis Halka, Sequoia's founder and CEO, demonstrated how the app works today. Users can assess their sexual health, follow personalized improvement programs, track changes over time, access educational content, schedule regular health checkups, and consult doctors online.
Sequoia is already available on iOS and Android, with around 55,000 downloads from men in more than 100 countries.

But the most important part of our presentation was about what comes next. We shared our plans to develop AI-powered technologies that could eventually analyze health data and help identify potential health risks earlier.
Three Areas for Collaboration
We see China as more than just a new market. It's also an opportunity to work together on developing and testing technologies that support men's sexual health and help prevent health problems.
We proposed three main areas of collaboration.
- Localizing Sequoia for China
Adapt the app for Chinese users, including the language, medical content, health assessments, data protection requirements, and local regulations. - Joint Research and AI Development
Work with clinics, universities, and technology companies to study health data, validate risk indicators, and develop tools for more personalized preventive care. - Pilot Projects
Launch small-scale pilot projects with clinics and technology companies, evaluate the results, and understand how the technology performs in real-world settings.

Starting Small
We suggested that our Chinese partners start with something practical rather than making big promises. The first step would be to identify a specific challenge and launch a small pilot project. If the results are promising, we can then explore a longer-term partnership.
Interested companies can now reach out to us to discuss potential opportunities. We hope this meeting will mark the beginning of a new chapter for Sequoia - one focused on international research partnerships and developing technologies that help men take better care of their health.
