Hi everyone! We’re excited to announce a new ver of Sequoia - 1.5.6. Yes, that’s right - 1.5.6.
You might be wondering what happened to 1.5.4 and 1.5.5. We skipped writing about those updates because we were testing a few hypotheses. Let me share what we learned.
What happened in 1.5.4 & 1.5.5
Recently, we analyzed our data and found that out of 1,052 users who installed Sequoia in July, only 150 (14.2%) reached the main screen. That’s quite low - so we decided to rethink the onboarding process.
We redesigned the flow, reduced the number of screens, refreshed the visuals, and - most importantly - rewrote the text. Our goal was to move away from a clinical tone and make texts feel warm, supportive, and human.
For example:
- Tests now include the note “There are no wrong answers - this helps us personalize your plan”
- The results screen says: “Don’t worry. You’re not alone. Most men experience similar issues at some point in life”.
These changes increased the conversion more than two times - up to 32.7% (352 users in August).
That told us we were on the right track. So, we decided to bring the same approach to the rest of the app. And today, we’re ready to show you the first results - the new home screen design.

What’s New in 1.5.6
The main screen now feels more vibrant and alive - with richer colors, smooth gradients, and 3D illustrations.
Hero Block
At the top of the screen, you’ll now see a Hero Block showing your progress in the 21-day program: current day, a motivational message, number of completed days, and a friendly visual to keep you inspired.
It helps you track your journey and stay motivated. This is also our first step toward gamifying the Sequoia experience.

Today’s Plan
Exercise cards have been redesigned too. Each one now includes a short note explaining why it matters.
For example, the Kegel exercise card says “Strengthens erection.” Other days it might say “Improves blood flow” or “Enhances orgasm.” These small variations keep the experience fresh and engaging. Once you complete an exercise, the card turns green with a confirmation message.

Daily Tracker
Many users told us the old tracker felt too big and heavy. So, we simplified it.
Now it starts with one simple question: “How do you feel today?” You can choose from three options: Good, Okay, or Not great.
After that, you’ll see a weekly chart showing how your mood and well-being change over time.
The classic tracker is still there, too - you can continue logging your symptoms manually.

AI Health Insights
After logging symptoms, you’ll now see a new block - AI Health Analysis.
Tap it, and Sequoia’s AI will review your past 7 days of data, then generate a personal health summary with:
- areas to pay attention to,
- recommended reading,
- and advice on when it might be worth seeing a doctor.
This feature is part of the Premium plan, but free users can try it up to 3 times.

Wrapping up
We hope these updates make Sequoia more helpful, motivating, and enjoyable - and help more men take care of their health.
For now, some parts of the app still use the old design - please bear with us. We’re working hard to bring the full new experience to everyone soon.
