We’re so excited to introduce the new Sequoia version! It brings a lot of new features - let’s go through them one by one.
'Track Health' Mode v 1.1
We added the 'Track Health' mode in the last version. To remind you quickly: it’s a general mode for men who live a healthy lifestyle, don’t have any health issues, but don't want to develop them in the future. The daily plan in this mode included drinking 2 liters of water, walking 10K steps, and spending 1 hour with family, friends, or hobbies.
After using it for a while, we realized it’s not always easy to reach these targets.
So in version 1.5.2, we improved this mode by allowing users to customize their own daily goals.
Now, men can adjust the plan - for example, reduce steps to 7,000 or increase time with family to 1.5 hours a day.
We hope this will help users feel more motivated and make the experience more personal.
Name Request
When you install version 1.5.2, the app will ask for your name. Why?
A name is one of the most pleasant sounds for any person. It’s how we speak to people we care about. Since we aim to be more than just a health app - and more like a friend - we’d love to know how to call our user.
Of course, your name will be securely encrypted, and no one else will ever have access to it.
“About the App” Screen
We want to stay connected with you and hear your feedback about how we can make Sequoia betterr. That’s why we’ve added links to our social media on a new “About the App” screen. It also includes our terms of use, privacy policy, and legal information.
Articles on the Today screen
We’re close to 200 articles in the app, and clearly realize that sometimes new content can get lost. So we’ve added the latest articles directly to the home screen.
Now, when you scroll down the home page, you’ll see our newest publications and can learn more about men’s health.
Grace Period
Starting with version 1.5.2, there will be a grace period. It will activate when your subscription ends but isn’t renewed.
We understand that sometimes cards run out of funds or expire. We don’t want to cut off access immediately, so we’ll give you up to 16 extra days to continue using premium features.
Conclusion
This isn’t everything we worked on for this release. We also fixed bugs, made minor improvements, and enhanced the “Online Consultation” feature. But that’s a big update, and we’ll talk more about it in future releases.
For now, try out the new features and let us know what you think!
