Tracker v3.1

Today, I want to tell you about some changes that will appear in the next version of Sequoia v1.4.8. But first, let me start with some background.

Currently, the Sequoia tracker allows you to monitor about 90 aspects of men's health. This includes sex, mood, pain, physical activity, and much more. However, this list is not final. With each release, we add new items. For example, in the next version, the "Medicines" category will have the option to note the use of erectile dysfunction drugs, and the "Additionally" category will include smoking.

All these activities are very important for men's health. However, there is a downside - the list becomes too long. It takes a lot of scrolling to find the necessary symptoms and record them. This is inconvenient and somewhat discourages users.

Therefore, we decided to optimize the display of the existing categories and add a search field.

New Category Display

Some categories already have more than 10 symptoms, and the "Mental condition" category has as many as 16. We thought that to simplify things, symptoms could be displayed in a collapsible list. In the new implementation, the first 4 symptoms and an ellipsis are displayed for each category. By clicking on the ellipsis, the list expands to show the remaining items in the category.

This significantly reduces the overall visual length of the list.

Search Field

The search field is a universal way to find what you need in a large list. Our search will work both by categories and by activities within them. If there is a match by activity, it will appear in the results. If there is a match in the category name, the category name and all activities within it will be displayed.

For example, if you enter "Sex," the results will show the categories "Sexual desire" and "Sexual activity." If you add a space in the search field, only the activity "Sex toys" will appear in the results.

We hope that these innovations will significantly simplify the process of filling out the tracker and allow our users to enter their data more frequently, and as a result, receive more recommendations for improving their health.

With respect and care for men's health,
