Veronika Demidovich - new specialist at Sequoia Health

You know, sometimes the most important meetings happen where you don't expect them at all.

In December 2025, I was invited to listen to a specialized lecture. Many colleagues gathered - psychiatrists, sexologists, neurologists. After the lecture ended, a woman came up to me, a little embarrassed, and said she had been following me since 2021, that she liked my content, and that it was important for her to say it in person. She added that she had been hesitant for a long time about whether to approach, and still decided to.

I was sincerely glad to have such a conversation. When we talked, I realized that this person could be part of our team.

Why are we growing and recruiting new specialists?

Sequoia Health is not just an app. It is a living product that evolves along with the needs of our users. We see how the demand for sexual and mental health is growing. People no longer want to be silent about what worries them. They are looking for support, knowledge, and a safe space.

In order to respond to this request honestly and professionally, we need a multidisciplinary live team. We are convinced that behind every algorithm, exercise, and recommendation in the Sequoia app, there should be not just an expert, but a person with an inquisitive mind and a sincere interest in the topic. We are looking for those who share our mission and are as passionate about it as we are.
And that's why that woman, my colleague, became a new specialist in our team. Meet Veronika Demidovich - an expert in the mental and sexual health.

Here is what she tell about our first time we met:

"I subscribed to Volha back in 2021. I like her content, for example, the anger and joy board, where you can upload your emotions, and, of course, the Sequoia app is just super wow. At a lecture in December, I decided to come up to her and tell her what a great blog she led. I hesitated for a long time, but I made up my mind. And she didn't just talk to me as a subscriber, but found out who I was and what I was. And then she offered to join Sequoia, and I was absolutely delighted."
